Our school joyfully celebrated the Feast Day of Saint Catherine on 29th April, 2026 with a special morning assembly that reflected her inspiring life of faith, courage, and service. The celebration aimed to instill in students the values she stood for and to encourage them to follow her path of compassion and dedication.
The assembly began with a solemn prayer, seeking blessings and expressing gratitude for the exemplary life of Saint Catherine. Students then presented a meaningful skit depicting key moments from her life—her strong devotion to God, her selfless service to the poor, and her efforts to promote peace and harmony. The performance beautifully conveyed her unwavering faith and her commitment to helping others.
Adding to the spirit of the occasion, a heartfelt poem was recited, highlighting Saint Catherine as a guiding light who transformed struggles into strength and spread hope through her kindness.
Students also participated enthusiastically in creative class activities. Std 1 students made beautiful bookmarks, Std 3 to 5 crafted lilies symbolizing purity and devotion, and students from Std 6 onwards created story strips illustrating the life and teachings of Saint Catherine.
The celebration reminded everyone to embrace the virtues of love, courage, and service in their daily lives.
