St. Karen’s Collegiate School marked Labour Day with deep appreciation and heartfelt celebration, honouring the invaluable contribution of our support staff. The assembly reflected gratitude, respect, and joy, bringing together students and staff in a meaningful tribute.
The programme commenced with a melodious group song, setting a graceful and reflective tone. Adding to the musical charm, the school choir presented a beautiful song that resonated with warmth and appreciation.
Students of Standards VIII and IX presented a powerful skit highlighting the dignity of labour, thoughtfully portraying the importance of respecting every role in our community. The performance was both impactful and inspiring. The young learners of Standards III and IV lit up the stage with a vibrant and energetic dance performance, captivating the audience with their enthusiasm.
A light-hearted game of musical chairs was organised for our support staff, filling the atmosphere with laughter and cheer, and creating moments of shared happiness.
The Principal, Mrs. Manisha Lall addressed the gathering with encouraging and heartfelt words, urging students to recognise and respect the dedication of our support staff who contribute silently yet significantly to the smooth functioning of the school.
The programme concluded with a token of appreciation presented to our support staff as a gesture of gratitude and respect.
