St. Karen’s Collegiate School conducted an engaging Poetry Interpretation Competition for Class IX, celebrating the depth and beauty of poetry. Students presented thoughtful interpretations of works by renowned poets such as Maya Angelou, William Ernest Henley, Mary Howitt, Thomas Hood, and William Edward Hickson.
Going beyond recitation, participants analysed themes, imagery, and poetic devices with confidence and clarity. The performances reflected strong literary understanding, emotional connection, and effective communication.
